DA’EE & TEACHER TRAINING
The general objective:
To prepare some local youth and qualify them to carry out the duty of preaching and teaching.
- The study is available for both males and females.
- The duration of the study is two years.
Admission requirements
1- The student should be of good conduct and behaviour.
2- He must have obtained at least a high school diploma.
3- His age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 35.
4- He must have memorized at least part of Amma Parah.
5- He must have a legal residence in the country - if he is an expatriate.
6- To obtain a Recommendation from one of the Islamic associations or imams of mosques.
7- To pass the acceptance test.
Student options
- A third of the number will be for full-fledged resident students (often residing outside Durban).
- Another third will be for non-resident students (mostly from Durban and those residing around it).
- Another third will be for distance learning.
Initial concept of the curriculum
- Studying in English while studying the basics of the Arabic language.
- Studying well-known legal sciences such as belief, interpretation, hadith, biography, history and Fiqh, recitation and memorization of 3 parts of the Holy Quran.
- Studying teaching methods and advocacy methods.
-Study some management basics.
-Computer proficiency and driving.
